Political Trainings & Leadership Development

• Train members in campaign management, digital organizing, fundraising, and political communications.

• Conduct online training sessions on VAN usage, public speaking, social media presence, and professional development. 

• Establish a Future Candidate Pipeline Program to mentor and prepare young democrats to run for office.

• Connect members with legislative offices and political campaigns to gain hands-on experience.

Local Chapter Support & Organizing

• Develop a Chapter Support Program 

• Startup toolkits, 

• Financial Resources, 

• Mentorship to help new chapters form and thrive.

• Support voter-outreach efforts, provide targeted funding, and organizational resources to county chapters.

• Strengthen relationships between TYD chapters and TDP county parties to ensure young leaders have a seat at the table.

• Collaborate with the Texas Democratic Party to organize communities throughout Texas for the 2026 election cycle. 

Fundraising & Financial Support

• Establish a TYD Grassroots Fund to provide microgrants for voter registration drives, events, and Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) efforts.

• Host an annual Texas Young Dems Gala to raise funds and showcase the power of young democratic leadership.

• Equip local chapters with fundraising training and tools to build self-sustaining financial support.

Digital Expansion & Messaging Strategy

• Launch a TYD Digital Action Team to run dynamic social media campaigns, create engaging video content, and amplify democratic messaging.

• Develop a TYD Podcast or YouTube Series featuring young democratic leaders discussing Texas politics and key issues.

• Ensure TYD builds and maintains a strong presence on social media platforms to reach young voters across Texas.

• Create a Rapid Response Team to counter misinformation and mobilize young voters during critical political moments.

Community Outreach & Coalition Building

• Partner with labor unions, advocacy groups, and progressive organizations to strengthen Democratic infrastructure in Texas.

• Form TYD Policy Action Committees focused on mental health, voting rights, climate justice, education, and criminal justice reform.

• Train and encourage young Democrats to attend and speak at city council, school board, and legislative meetings to drive local policy change.
